Terminating is the process of applying [crimping] a connector or
terminal to the end of an electric wire. The terminated wire makes
it possible for the mass production of wire harnesses in automotive,
telecommunications, computer and appliance manufacturing.
Because the terminated wire plays such an important role in the
production and safe operation of virtually every electronic devise,
it is vital that the terminal crimping process is performed correctly.
Kenco has been fulfilling this need for 50 years, and has manufactured
thousands of crimping presses including brand labeled presses for
AMP, Molex®, Delphi Packard Electric, and ETCO.
Today Kenco offers a full line of crimping presses for every wire
termination requirement:
Electric presses for use with mini-applicator tooling
Bench presses for manual operations
Custom presses for integration into automated systems
Standard flywheel presses for "post die" style
tooling
10 and 20 ton presses for battery cable terminating |
