Directive 2002/95/EC Compliance Policy
The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament stipulates that certain hazardous substances must not be present above defined levels in electrical and electronic products after July 1st, 2006 with some product exceptions.
Taber Industries - Materials Test and Measurement instruments fall into the monitoring and control instruments classification (category 9) and as stated in Article 2, are exempt from this directive. Products which are mechanical are not covered by the RoHS Directive.
Taber Industries is committed to a clean environment and is working towards voluntary RoHS compliance. We recognize that some countries outside the EU have adopted the RoHS list of hazardous material to restrict their use in electrical and electronic products without accepting the product exceptions.
Directive 2002/96/EC Compliance Policy
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2002/96/EC of the European Parliament stipulates that producers of electrical and electronic equipment are responsible for its reuse, recycling or disposal at the end of its useful life.
